Pearl is no longer available.

Pearl's approximate date of birth is August 15, 2021. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/Felv and she has a registered microchip. Her adoption fee is $350.00 + tax. Pearl lives up the definition of her named gemstone: Pearl has made as a natural defense against an irritant entering her space that has caused trauma on her. That irritant is human interaction and she is still putting up defenses regarding her fear of people and has created a protective coating in the hopes of keeping her safe. She will require someone who has the patience and knowledge to help her crack this protective coating. Pearl was trapped as a kitten and brought to rescue. Her sister, Penny was trapped days later and they were then reunited. Both had received no previous human interaction prior to rescue. Penny came around quickly. She enjoys people and the companionship they provide. While she continues to make progress, Pearl still has her tough protective coating. As beautiful as she is, she will require a patient forever family with a gentle touch to help her emerge. If you are up to the challenge, the rewards of watching them emerge in to the amazing companions they can be will be priceless! *They will not go to a home without knowledge of socializing kittens or the willingness to learn. They will not do well with children or in a home with high activity.
