About

Nellie's approximate date of birth is: April 13, 2019. She is vaccinated, spayed and she has a registered microchip. Her adoption fee is $200.00 + tax. Nellie is an adorable girl with a beautiful white and calico spotted coat. She is a social kitten and wants to be where the action is. She also loves to be the action... but can be a little scared of people's reactions to what should be considered normal kitten behavior. While we have no idea of what her past was before rescue, she seems to have some reaction fear of behaviors that she may have been punished for in the past. She has not lived with other cats while in rescue and every indication so far says that she would do best as an only cat. She has been great with the cat friendly dogs that she has met in rescue, once properly introduced. ** Nellie will require a home with no other cats. Dogs may be great for her, if proper introductions are done after she has had time to settle in and begin to bond with her new family. She needs time to learn to trust people to make sure that she understands that they will not harm her. She will not respond well to negative reinforced punishment, so a kind and calm environment with people that understand that she is a living being with feelings and fears is required. Nellie is a special girl and she deserves that special family who will understand that she has a past that may include fears and uncertainties. She really is a fantastic girl and in the right home she will make an amazing and loyal companion for life.
