About

Nikki's approximate date of birth is May 1, 2020. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/Felv and she has a registered microchip. Her adoption fee is $225.00 + tax. Talk about a sweet little girl who had a rough start at life... Nikki is that girl. She is the absolute definition of "rescue". She was born on a farm and received no human interaction, until she was trapped and put in that cage that you see in her bio pictures. Look close. Yes, that is some sort of rodent that was placed in there as the farmer's idea for feeding them while they waited.... waited for unknown people to pick them up after they were posted on a local page as free to anyone who wants them. Unknown people that were likely to return them, now separated and alone to a strange new outdoor living situation. That photo from that cage was shared with STAR and we knew that they deserved better than that. They came to rescue and were scared but never showed signs of aggression; well, other than some cute little kitty hisses. With time and patience, they are now so ready to find their forever home. A home with a family to love them and keep them safe. Such a different word than they came from. If you have love and patience and will give Nikki time to settle in to a new home and begin to trust, she will reward you with a life time filled with unconditional love. *If you would be interested in meeting a Saving Tails Animal Rescue pet or being considered for an adoption, please complete an adoption application at savingtails.org Saving Tails Animal Rescue (STAR) is a 501(c)3 registered no-kill, non profit animal rescue. All animals are placed in loving foster homes until their forever family finds them. Because there is not a physical shelter location, foster homes are needed to help rescue local animals who are in danger of euthanasia.
